I've struggled with back issues for the last 3 years trying regain my mileage after having back surgery riding my Italian speedsters. No mater how hard I tried or how slow I trained nothing worked!
So now a new approach Trek's FX 7.5, it's light, fast and lets me set in a position I think might just work. I guess I'll know more in about three months or so. If I can get back to riding 60 miles + I'll consider it a success. With any luck I'll be riding another "Century" on my 60th birthday in Sept.
