I got this Mongoose sometime during my childhood. I was probably about 12 or 13 and at the time I wanted to be like all the cool kids riding BMX with pegs etc. That never happened and the bike eventually was replaced with mountain bikes and sat in my shed for years. Recently, I used it to get around campus since I don't mind leaving it in the rain. Now, I'd like to repaint it and upgrade/replace some of the parts as practice work for bikes in general. I have a dream of turning it into something of a chopper, but who knows if that will ever happen.
