Here's me motorized bike- i'm planning to get some performance parts like an expansion pipe, shift kit, etc.

Isn't there a lot of pressure on that chain tensioner in that position? I just put together a kit on a mountain bike and I'm having a problem with the chain. I've tried different positions with the tensioner. My chin suddenly
gets really tight. It don't figure

Did you have it loose, and when you rode, it tightened? I never had this problem, but search the forums- motorbicycling .com, etc for answers.

Your chain is probably getting tight and loosening when the wheel turns because the rear sprocket is not completely centered on the hub. Its no big deal unless its really extreme, just slide the idler wheel down a hair so there is
not so much tension in the tight areas. If you are out of room there then move the whole tensioner toward the motor and re-adjust accordingly. Good luck.....
