Bike was reclaimed from the Fort Worth city dump. It came with the original drop bars and racing seat; I converted it to a tourist style bike by putting on tourist bars from an old Huffy and a Schwinn-approved touring seat. With the Schwinn Approved touring bag and Wald rear baskets, it makes a decent city commuter.

I'm begging you to tell me when you ride to town, do you have the old metal pant cuff clips? They were made of spring steel, horse-shoe shaped so one could slip them over one's folded pant cuff and keep them away from the chain.

Beautiful, proper bike with enough personal attention you must really be proud. A beauty!

If it's cool I ride with jeans and I use one of those reflective velcro straps.

If I could trip across a set of the vintage ones I'd get 'em though.

These are some of the bikes I have owned. I buy, restore and sale bikes as a winter hobby when I'm not riding.
