Nipple Irritation

I have a jersey that I've worn several times with no problem, but I rode with it in the heat recently and my nipples were rubbed raw!!

Have any of you ever had this problem? I'm in the process of trying to figure out which fabric(s), weather conditions, etc., are the culprit and thought maybe someone could help me narrow in.

Thanks guys!

I have no idea what fabrics or weather conditions cause it but I do know the best remedy is a plain old bandaid. It keeps the fabric from rubbing.

You have to go up in order to come down. Why is the up part always so steep?

I'm dealing with that right now, after my mountain bike ride yesterday my right nipple is feeling quite chapped. I've heard about the band aid thing as well but I'vve never tried it

Check out something called 'Body Glide'. I had the same problem earlier in the summer so started looking for solution. I guess my nipples grew calluses because they quit getting sore.

I just always wear a tight cycling jersey or undershirt of some kind> Always been a little heavy in the chest, never had a problem.
