I discovered the Specialized RBX shorts and they are amazing! The padding is a little firmer which makes them so comfy! I only have 2 pairs of the bibs but I'm hoping to get a third for Christmas!
I have tried several brands of shorts and found the Pearl Izumi Attack shorts to be the best for fit and comfort. I'm not a bib kind of guy as I have a very hard time finding one that fits.

Ya they are kinda limited on color. Umm... I got mine in Large on these. Trust me they aren't as ugly as the picture shows them. I work them with my purple Kansas State fitness shirt and it looked alright. I see what you mean by the grey / black in Small only.
