Every June an amateur MTB race starts from the sea level in Senj Senj in Croatia and ends at a mountain refuge Zavizan 1594 m high. This year the date is June 20th. Organizer is Senj Tourist Office TZ Senj - Naslovnica where invitation and registration instructions are posted. This race is an excelent possibility for foreign MTB riders to see the beauties of National park Northern Velebit which is one of the last virgin forests in Europe. 2008 event is presented at "Uspon na Zavižan 2008" (od 0 1594) . 9th Hillclimb to Zavizan from 0 to 1594 m shall start on Saturday June 18th 2011 at 10:00 from the Senj harbour and one hour later at 11:00 from the village Oltari 975 m higher.
