Hotter 'N Hell Hundred

Off to Wichita Falls, TX today for the HHH . Looks like the temps won't be as high as last year, but I bet it will still feel plenty hot. Wish us luck.

That ride nearly killed me once. Had a frame issue just before the ride and tried to do the hundred on a rented bike. Very bad idea! Ended up flagging a car down at around 78 miles to take me to the medical tent. That year it was so hot, they closed Hell's Gate around 11 in the morning.

Have fun!

Good luck! It's going to be 102 here today. Probably hotter up there.

The ride was great! The weather was GREAT. Light winds and in the 80's. Best of all, we had zero flats!!

80's?! They might need to change the name! Glad you had a good ride. We had unusually cool temperatures here this weekend too. Today, the high was only in the low 70s! I can't believe it's August.

You have to go up in order to come down. Why is the up part always so steep?
