Here's Competitive Cyclist's next Tweet about it.

I hope we didn't just all fall for spam.

I don't see anything else that verifies this yet.

I got the press release, and I got the email direct from the company that handles the PR for Interbike:

Dear Brian,

Today Interbike emailed a letter to retailers and exhibitors announcing that it has reversed its decision to move the show to Anaheim in August 2011, and will move it back to Vegas for the week of September 12. Interbike made this decision after gaining strong feedback and support for September dates.

Below is a press release with all of the details. If you have any questions, or would like to interview Show Director Andy Tompkins, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Chip Smith, for...
Interbike

And yes, that's the 2nd best news I've had all day. Spent this morning at the hospital with my wife, and this afternoon at the vet with my dog.

Man, that's harsh. Sorry you're going through that man. I lost my Mom young and it takes a lot to get over losing some one close to you. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Oh, don't take it the wrong way. I've lost track of how many eye surgeries she's had this year (at least six, with two more to go) and we've had three emergency room visits (plus a 911) call since July. Yesterday, they poked a camera into each end of her, and found something abnormal on both the intake and exhaust sides. But nothing that can't be fixed, thankfully. She's only 30, and has already been through way too much.

Trying to always stay upbeat for her has been taking a toll on me. Interbike would have been a welcome getaway, but I couldn't leave her by herself. And since she's not working, our budget has been pretty tight. Wow, I've vented my personal life online.

I'm glad to hear it can be fixed. Are they going with surgery or medicine?
