Leadville 100 (and media bias)

In case you haven't heard, Rebecca Rusch, three time 24 hour solo XC World Champion, won the women's class at this year's Leadville.

Unfortunately, a majority of mainstream media has only reported on the guy that won the men's class. I'm not sure what his name is, but he's no mountain biker.

Of course it's media bias, but that is the nature of the media. I mean, how many other people do you think died on June 25th this year?

Congratulations to Rebecca, and I think Dave Wiens deserves a big congratulations too for his Leadville performance!

The Tour gets the same treatment. When Lance is in the race, he is all you hear about, and last year, he wasn't all you heard about, just most!! LOL!!

So a "non-mountain" biker dominated the course and shattered a record?
And did some of it with a flat?
And was the recipient of much praise from Wiens?
Hmm...

Congrats to all who raced.
