Bad Attitude

I've always been a big fan of L.A but since this years T>D>F I've gone off the guy completely. HIs attitude on the presentation platform and his snubbing Contador's celebration meal was just attrocious.
Now he's bad mouthing Contador to the Press.

I know he's lost several fans in this household at least. I don't know about anyone. I'm so dissapointed in him.

I think it's a matter of both of them having bad attitudes. Astana doesn't seem to get along with anyone and Lance should be more professional.

Never been a fan. Having met him and LeMond in person at Interbike, I remain a loyal LeMond fan. Greg stayed after his allotted time because he took the time to actually chat with his fans for a bit. To me, everything Lance does seems to be an obligation or opportunity, never an unselfish act.

LeMond is a more pure talent. Armstrong is a better doper.

Andy Hampsten and Miguel Indurain were two other favorites.

I believe what he is saying probably has some truth to it and I agree that he should be acting more professionally. This whole AC vs LA thing has gotten ridiculous and I think LA knows that he is no longer the tour champion and that really bothers him. Lance needs to let it go because he can't ride in the tour forever and he will not hold his record forever.

Someone beating his record is a GOOD thing for cycling, even if LA does not approve of that rider's personality.

Previous Tour winners were cyclists and athletes. Lance seems more like a celebrity than anything else.

Lemond is a freakin cry-baby and just could not tolerate his own amazing cycling feats being eclipsed by Lance.

Sure you can join the french Morons and bash Lance about doping and ignore that is one of the most frequently tested athletes in history and has NEVER failed a drug test.

His personal interactive skills were never good but have improved over the years. But as to ability --- be real --- best American Cyclist --bar none

as to best cyclist ever -- hard call Lance is a TDF specialist so best TDF rider --YES but Eddie Merckx would probably be my pick for best of all time

mikebike, I was getting ready to unload on you until you mention Merckx. He is my favorite all-time rider too. I simply like LeMond because he was a deadly time trialler and that is the best indication of ability. Race Of Truth.

As for Lance passing dope tests. Barry Bonds has never failed a test either. He is/was big news over here during the whole baseball steroid period. All being compared to cycling here.

P.S. The French are morons. LeMond is an American with a bad last name.
