I have been (and still am) a big fan of the 3 Grand Tours. The drama is almost palpable and you can't beat it for theatre but.....in the past 7 years or so, I have really been looking forward to the spring classics. I have come to enjoy the balls out racing for that one day with the riders leaving nothing for tomorrow. I think that what got me so into the classics was the countless times I had to explain my love of cycling and pro cycling to my non-cycling friends who have only heard of the Tour de France. I guess it may also be that the advent of the classics also means that spring is around the corner and I can get out riding again. I do not like to HTFU and ride in the winter .

I like the classics better. The favorites got caught out in the Omloop ysterday, looking at each other while the winning move went up the road.

Omloop was great! Awesome, awesome, awesome. Couldn't believe the split between the breakaway, the chase and the peloton. Unreal!

I like the grand tours, of all of them I like the Giro the most followed by Le Tour.

The single day of cycling racing that I look forward to most each year is definitely Paris-Roubaix.

Especially last year, the Giro was so much better than Le Tour. But honestly, I thought some of the best racing of the season was seen in the USA Pro Challenge.
