Giro

Anyone else catch the poor sportsmanship in Italy today? +1 to Cavendish for not going at that d-bag like a spider monkey.

I totally missed today watching F1 and heading up to watch the crit of the Joe Martin Stage Race today. Feel free to explain further, even if it involves spoilers. I want to know what happened.

Wouter Weylandt (according to race radio and EuroSport) of Leopard-Trek was involved in a crash near the end of Stage III. What quick glimpses were aired showed a rider unconscious with severe facial trauma. Commentators said there is a defibrillator being used, but may only be for EKG. Whoever the rider is, lets keep them in our thoughts and prayers today.

Unfortunately since we changed bases, I no longer get Universal Sports even though I still have Comcast. I do, however, get V.S. in HD!!!! I've been following as best I can on velonation.com but nothing like watching it in person.

Thanks to Last_Place_Pete, I have some links for watching it online.

Steephill.tv has it as does atdhe.me On the second site, scroll done and click the "other" tab. Watching EuroSport live right now with a link from atdhe.me I hope I don't get fired before the Giro is over.

Unfortunately the military firewalls almost everything that involves media, java or ActiveX....I guess I'll have to wait until tonight.
