After everything thats happened over the last couple of weeks exposing Lances doping, do you still have respect for him?

I would suppose after speaking to the many people he has inspired to fight and often times conquer cancer I would have to say yes I have respect for him. Do I idolize him so he is some kind of Messiah? Absolutely not!

Only one man walked on water, it was NOT Lance.

I guess I don't have a lot of respect for him at this point. How can you respect a liar & a cheater? Yeah, I know he passed all those tests, but he must have been a miracle man to be "clean" & keep up with & pass all the other bikers who are dopers.

I heard on a podcast recently, I think it was on the Fredcast, that all the times have started to fall since all of this has been happening. Speculation is that the cyclists have been "scared straight" and now we get to see "un-drugged" performance, instead of artificially enhanced.

I always thought of Lance as a cool guy, winning all of those tours year after year was amazing...I don't think the same now.

How's that for a long winded answer?

I agree, he's brought more awareness to cancer and cycling than anyone else has.

Yea, I still think he has a good soul, he has just helped so many people. I can't help to not admire him a bit.

I walked on water once.

But it was a frozen puddle.

I respect him as much as I ever did. My interest in and respect for pro cycling, on the other hand, is long-gone. If wins from races that happened more than a decade ago can be vacated by a group that lacked the competence to catch the alleged cheating while it was happening in the first place, then to me, no one's wins or stats can mean anything.

I bet if you check a decade from now, the winners of last Sunday's round of football games will be the very same teams who are shown as the winners today. Most pro sports try to do it that way, from what I've seen. Thanks to the USADA, this can no longer be said for pro cycling. Sad. I was just at the point of getting into it.

IN all of his win's the second place winner has admitted to or been caught for doping - I don't think this has any thing to do with Lance - but the sport - at least at the time - I don't agree with doping it just seems petty so many years later
