I ended up following @raceticker and @procyclinglive on twitter. After yesterdays stage, I just couldn't wait to watch it tonight on the DVR. Even through twitter it was exciting. I can't wait to watch tonight.

I will refrain from saying much about it, as I am sure there are some peeps out there that haven't watched it.

This is the first year I have watched ( mostly via DVR ) the TdF and have enjoyed watching every minute of it. I don't know all the customs and courtesy's of the sport so when I say this don't completely tear me a new one. I have been involved with some sort of racing for years and most of that with Late Model dirt racing and when you see an opportunity you do not hesitate to take your competitor with no mercy. Clean passes are a must so in that regard I can understand what happened. I don't completely understand the waiting for a mechanical failure and how that all works. Seems odd to me to "wait" for a competitor I am trying to beat

There is no need to tear you one because your observations are spot on. This is something that I think is unique to cycling, mainly stage racing.

So, did you read about today's stage? I had it streaming on my second computer screen. The finish was pretty exciting, and I was actually yelling in my office. Gotta remember not to do that when I have headphones on and the door open.
Yea, definitely exciting. I was off my seat at home, almost spilled my beer!

Assuming everyone caught yesterday's stage....I plan on watching the end again tonight since there is no stage today....

Anyway, LA showed some flashes of his younger self, but I was pulling for Chris Horner more then LA. What a stage though!!!!! This tour has been so good, I have almost got my girlfriend watching, which would be a frickin miracle!!!!!

And what about Hushovd???? Sprinter finishes in 10th on Stage 16!!! That guy is crazy!!!

New rider I am pulling for, Ryder Hesjedal. Broke the top 10 the other day. Want to see him and Levi push up further.

Agreed, LA was pretty strong in some of those attacks but he just couldn't sustain it. Barredo just kept counter attacking (eventually to his own demise).

Stoked about tomorrow! I don't see myself getting much done at work until the stage is over.

Anyone else not follow it or care about it? I just don't get into it.
