Re: Specialized Roubaix SL2
Thanks Xela. (Greek ?) That's a nice ride you got. How do you like it? Carbon seat?

Re: Specialized Roubaix SL2
I love it, Gman! Fast yet very comfortable. I went from riding a Look 595 to this bike. The Look was very fast, but the saddle to handlebar drop was really hurting my neck and shoulders.

Since I took those pics, I have replaced the Toupe saddle shown with this one

Specialized Bicycle Components : Toupe Team Saddle

Xela is not Greek. It's just my first name in reverse. I'm mostly German heritage.

Nayz!
The red contis pick up the red trim on the frame.
Same SSC SL set that I have.
Is this the bike you were thinking of upgrading to Super Record?

Yep, that's her. Don't think that's gonna happen, as the wife got a little sticker shock (OK, it was more like laughing in my face), when she saw the price.

in all honesty... how worn is that 10sp actually? They last quite a while.

In all honesty, not too bad. I really would like the newer UT cranks (mine are the old square taper), and a rear derailler, though. Other than that, no significant wear. I have had to rebuild the right shifter once.

Yeah getting the outboard bearings is a worthwhile upgrade IMHO. A Fulcrum would go good with that frame!

Just added a new pic of her with my Zipps mounted. Also, I've changed saddles and my saddle bag since I originally posted the first pics. The cranks are also new after getting a smokin' deal on those FSAs.
