G'day to all,

I'm currently rebuilding a circa 1994 Cinelli Genius Strada. I have managed to get hold of one of the original Cinelli Grammo Ti quill stems but it is missing the rubber cap that covers the tensioning bolt.

There lays my problem, trying to get hold of ne of these caps. I understand the original had the Cinelli logo but seeing as how these caps where often lost they were then made elsewhere but w/o the logo. Either would satisfy me although the logo version would be brilliant. Any of you guys got any clues as to where I may be able to get my hands on one of these caps. NOTHING in OZ, have seen a couple of mentions on web searches but dead ends every time.

I was hoping someone out there may be able to help.

I know a rather eccentric older guy that owned a bike shop, and probably has that sort of thing in his garage. But contacting him might take a while. I need to track him down for some bits myself, and I'll keep you in mind.

Don't take even the smallest, most remote amount of hope from that though - I haven't heard from him in two years.
