High flange hubs?

I saw an article in one of the online magazines about a company making high flange hubs similar to Campy HF's from back in the day. I had Campy HF's and loved them! Nothing was better than a simachrome pollished Campy hub. Does anyone know who is making these new hubs in high flange? 36 hole?

No but I saw a bike pic posted here a couple days ago (search bike porn) and the hubs on that rig looked just like the old Campy C Recrod (the so called Sherriff's badge hubs). I realized that on this new rig they couldn't be 20 year old hubs so somebody must be making them... Industry Hack... do you know???

I believe Phil and Paul's both make some [damn sexy] high flange hubs.

I'm not sure about the 36 hole drilling though.

I saw a thread about them on another site in the last month or two. Ryan could probably find that before I could. Don't recall if it was discussion of the originals, or of possible new models.

Yeah that's them! A direct copy (down to the QRs) of the C Record!

Would that be the thread where 'they' said that everyone who rides the Sheriff Star Hubs has a death wish just because a few of them have failed.

I just re-laced a vintage shimano 36 hole high flange front hub to a shiny new CR-18 rim. Originally I laced it standard 3x but I decided to rebuild the wheel 3 leading, 3 trailing and it is a lot sexier this way. I need to complete the truing/tensioning of it but I lack the requisite tools.
