Ti Litespeed Classic

Bought this 62cm Litespeed Classic in 1997. It has many miles and a few crashes to it history. It's a time machine. I almost bought a Eddy Merckx Leader but chose the Litespeed. I wonder how the Merckx would have worked out, it was such a fine looking bike in Columbus Max tubing (I think) that year. I bought a Lemond Zurich a little later in 853 for wanting a steel bike, still have it. Been thinking of what could endure the test of time better then a Ti frame. I took this photo as I was installing some new shifters. Not wraped the bars yet. The bike was ordered from Litespeed with Ti stem and Ti seat post. I changed out the Ti post for carbon for some unknown reason.

Gotta love the old Litespeeds when they were made by the Lynskey Family. Not the same bike today for sure. I wouldn"t part with mine.
