I have friends that have road SMP. I hear that's a fun area with some great downhill and big climbs.

Wow. What a small world (in a good way!).
I came to love cycling in Manhattan with the river trails. Fast and smooth single-track. So much fun.

I really liked the prairie trails in Manhattan (Marlatt Park) until I tried a bad line on one of the intimidating descents... I bit it hard. My chin is scarred as well as my bottom lip - my top teeth went through my bottom lip.

I tried SMP, but the rock sections still freak me out a bit. I'd be down to ride them again if anyone wants to 'coach' me on riding through the rocks!
