Hello from NC (almost)

Hello to all in NC. And, to explain the "almost"; I am enroute to the Fayetteville area as this is my new duty station (left Texas a few weeks ago and am visiting family now in the upper midwest). I am hoping there are plenty of trails nearby. I am looking forward to living and riding in the southeast states that has more vegetation and water than central Texas. This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy or dislike Texas, I just want to see a little more green.

Take care.

Killeen, so Dana Peak and BLORA is where I rode when I got the chance. Unfortunately, I didn't get to ride as much as I would have liked. I did a lot of 'trainer" riding on my road bike...folks scared me on the road around Killeen. There a good bunch of guys (and a gal) that ride together pretty regularly (see Bikemojo) at DP and BLORA. I hope to ride much more in NC; however, this will, again, depend on the job.

Made it to NC four days ago...whew, i'm glad all the driving is over. Now begins the search for a house. Hopefully that won't take too long. Then I can visit some bikes shops for trail info gathering and get some riding in.
