It is now open. The Legacy Trail Pedestrian Overpass project began on 3-28-11 and is finished. The Mediterranean-style overpass, a $3.1 million project, was built with federal stimulus funds approved in 2009. The bridge is 12 feet wide, 18 feet tall and 900 feet long. That's pretty nice. I really like the fact that it's not just concrete and steel and has some flair to it!! If they can keep the punks from destroying it and the graffiti artists from putting their touch on it it will be a nice piece.

Thanks for seeing Rola. You are so right about the brats and punks. I hear many cities are installing infrared cameras and motion detectors to catch all hoodlums even thinking about destroying public property. Take care.

Also I can't believe the state of Wisconsin charges to ride on the trails. Taxpayers already paid to build them. Most politicians are a waste of lazy humanity.
