Commute to work was quite nice with low humidity and a nice sunrise. I got a feeling the ride home definitely is not going to be as pleasant!

Thanks!

Here are some new pics of my ride around Mammoth Lakes on my birthday after the Ride of the Immortals.

This weekend, I was reminded how beautiful one of my favorite loops around here is. I hadn't ridden it in several months, and hadn't ridden in this direction (CW instead of CCW) in years. But I rode it twice this weekend. Here's a link to my Facebook album with the pics.

Nice country, Xela. I either forget the camera /phone or can't stop for the shots. I was 10 minutes out when I remembered yesterday.

Thanks! I had ridden nearly the same route the day before and wished I had my camera, rather than just my phone. So I decided a good remedy was to go on that route again with the camera. Everything is so green around here right now. However, with upper 80s this early in the year, I bet things won't be green for very long this year. I'm thinking it's going to be a nasty summer.

The old neighborhood where my first house is. Residential neighborhoods have a lot to see, especially the denser ones. You don't do tons of miles here, though.
