Houston tx. It is a tail in a nature park.

In my county there are more miles of unpaved than paved roads. This one is not very road bike friendly.

This was the first ride since the two storms came through. I'm a fair weather rider who could not pass up 58 degrees. Our city park had trees down but the road and most of the MUPS were open. Then there were the large trees off the path broken in two. Not uprooted, split.
I passed what looked like a father & son with a chainsaw gathering firewood on the first circuit. I had to stop for a rotten tree trunk shot. This tree was ready to come down.
The firewood team was gone on my second time around but they left a piece jammed into these trees.

Very cool. I have never seen a cotton field in person. Fall River the city of my birth was once the leading producer of cotton fabric in the world.

Huge pothole that has been there since I started biking mid summer. It is large enough that a soccer ball would fit in it now. Easily 8" - 10" deep in these pics.
