Hi all -

I'm just joining this forum. My BF and I are road biking from Bar Harbor to Burlington, VT (well, actually, Plattsburgh, NY, but we have the VT-NY part figured out).

Have any of you done a ride along this route or near it and if so, what advice could you give? We are looking for good/bad routes, where to go or stay away from, etc.

I never rode there, but that is part of the adventure cycling route system. Check out adventurecycling.org. West bound, Bar Harbor to Burlington is their Northern Tier section 11, from Bar Harbor to about Thetford then the Green Mountains Loop to Burlington from Thetford to Burlington
