From what I have read there is still a lot of the bureaucratic head aches when trying to cycle through central Asia and the Stans. I've read it can be a nightmare getting visas but it is very much worth the hassle.

I do not know about Central Asia … but in BG there are not any problems …

Personally I would avoid to tour in Central Asia … not because of bad people or something like it … it is really a wide region – as a nature and climate …

There are 2 kinds poison snakes in BG, but last time I have seen was years ago in my childhood. What about scorpions – no, here we have not.

The tour really was very nice – with this team I did it for second time – last and this summer – each 2 weeks. Soon I will do a photo album and give a link to it.
