I normally never fall for these free issue deals when it comes to magazines but i took this offer. I got my free magazine yesterday and I am very impressed. It's published by Adventure Cycling Association. What struck me is the amount of meat (actual writing) vs. taters (pics) What pics they do have are stunning too. They give a good cross section of topics and articles like "from commuter to tourer" and "Bike touring 101". About a 50/50 mix between informational and trip report articles. Adventurer Cycling is a geat organization. The magazine is always good, and their long distance route maps are excellent.

Yeah the membership is $40 and you get a discount on maps. I love maps!
