I found an iPhone in a cute Kate Spade case in the street. M street in Georgetown, on a rainy day. It was not run over or damaged by water. I was rewarded $37 dollars upon delivery to her husband at his place of work.
Found a bank envelope with $200 in it on an empty country road. Unfortunatly since we had in our minds that we got an "extra" $200 we must have spent twice that on goodies.

Very good of the husband who had not offered nor been asked to reward me. Upon receipt of the phone, he emptied his wallet, then insisted on walking with me to a nearby ATM so he could give me more money. At exactly that moment the sun came out for the first time all day. I told him an additional $20 would be very generous and more than enough to compensate me for my efforts.
