What do you guys use? I had to get a razor blade and scrape the residue from my maruishi to get it clean for new tape

Ever try anything like Goo Gone? When I worked heavy equipment the THE BEST sticker remover was to spray it down with ether ( starting fluid ) and hit it with a Bic lighter. ANY sticker would come off with ease. I still use that on a lot of stuff. Obviously there are some safely issues you need to be careful with using this method!!!!

Nah, I had tried it and those citrus cleaned previously and they never worked any better then scrubbing without them. I figured gas was the best thing to use but I used the razor blade to get the main thick stuff off and then a green scouring pad soaked in alcohol to get the left over little bits. It worked by took a long time

I re-taped the bars on my trainer bike yesterday.
I used some rubbing alcohol and cotton balls... but there wasn't a great deal of tape residue to remove in the first place.

I use acetone for things like that. Stickers are so lame and must be removed, so that is my go to product.

Hmm, never even though of acetone or wd-40. Next time, hopefully I remember
