They work an the trainer is notched. I just like how easy it is to work on something with skewers

Oh boy.

You're doing it again, brother.

Now, you lucked out because you bought 650c wheels which are 571mm, meaning your RIM BRAKES will work with them. Hopefully.

Different hub spacing, but that should be okay too.

Those **650b** conversions you see are done on DISC BRAKE bikes.

You can make either one work, but it would really be just for something to do.

Anyway, Michelin makes a 1.1 slick that weighs 200g, just in case you should ever decide to do something the easy way.

Eagerly awaiting your next post on how to make an 11 speed Campy cassette work on a 13 year old mountain bike.

Good luck.

Ha ha ha, I think my next deal is going to be figuring out how to regear my new recumbent for high speed riding. It's got some decent riding quick release millennium rims on it so it should be great on the trainer and once I figure out how rehear it (it's got old school shimano sts or stx thumb shifters on it and gears for cruising), I am going to be flying on long distance rides.

But for now, it's just a fun cruiser.

So, if I get a tool for changing the gears to those 650 deep bees, I can put those on my hybrid, ha ha ha.
