2012 Review
So I actually took time to do a yearly review of my cycling in 2012, the post is here:
http://aerochick.com/2013/01/2012-in-review/
In general, a pretty good year that saw me do my first century, drop some weight, do more races and set up this year to be awesome.
How about you guys?

Nice website! I did not make my yearly mileage goal, but had a lot of fun in what riding I did get in. The highlight of my year was surviving a 50 mile mountain bike race.

My 2012 riding year went extremely well with a few exceptions. It was my first full year of retirement, so finding a time to ride was no longer an issue. It was also a year where I sustained more injuries, since I got back into cycling, keeping me off the bike for three months. 2012 saw more charity rides than the previous year with several 100K rides and a century ride. At 5,220 miles, I rode over 2,000 miles more than I did in 2011 and wonder how many miles I would have ridden if I didn't have all those injuries. The only thing I want to accomplish for 2013 is to not have as many injuries and/or time off the bike so I can put on more miles than last year. I also want to start using the Transit for what we bought it for and start our Florida cycling tour and then our U.S. cycling tour. So for 2013, it's feed my addiction and keep those pedals turning.

Unfortunately I started riding late in 2012, but I still got some quality riding in:
MS 150
Tour de Pink
And tons of miles riding around my area (attempting to put down some serious base miles for 2013).
I also bought my Bianchi in 2012 and that has motivated me a lot!

I had a nice year Ben came down and we did a Tour de Swamp 35 miles and the 666 Tour 40 miles. We had some good rides and a year total of 3,195 miles, I have slowed as the year ended, so I am hopeing that 2013 brings some good ride.

for tracked mileage, its a tick above 1600; with untracked mileage, not sure.
dabbled in some racing, dropped some weight, changed bikes.
the big thing is I was able to ride again. that, alone, without the metrics made the year a great one.
Hoping to top 5,000 miles this year and am batting 100% for days riding for the year.

4200 miles. Down about 10% from last year. Life gets in the way of riding sometimes.
No miles yet for 2013.

Isn't that the truth. . .
I think my epitaph should read "Life: what happens in between rides."
