Adjustable Stem

Has anyone ever used an adjustable Stem on a road bike? If so what brand? or if you would'nt use one why?

I used one when I first switched from a more upright hybrid/mtn bike to a road bike. Is the affordable way to add some flexibility as you get use to the new position, and find the height, angle, and length you prefer. Once I dialed it in, I purchased a fixed stem that mimicked that angle to replace it with.
