Ageless Cyclists

Just curious. Anybody here in their 80's and still riding regularly?

I personally know no octogenarians on the site but that doesn't mean they aren't here.

I am 67 and know there are some cyclest older than me. I would like to know how old you are and still ride . Last year I rode over 4,000 miles and this year I have over 3,700 miles on so far.

I'm 69 and generally ride 2,500 to 3,500 mi/year.

There are two local guys in their mid 70's who ride over 4,000 mil/year.

59 and the same, 2500-3500. But that will change when I retire. Not much time to ride now.

65 and I ride about 2000 miles a year. Due to problems with cold weather I don't ride outside in the winter so much of that milage is on the stationary bike.

Nope Sorry only 58, rode 3600 this year, but like Possumpoint above I don't ride in the winter either but will ride a indoor trainer thogh it's extremily boring. And like Senecacyclist, time is a huge factor which prevents me from riding more, but once I retire I will ride a lot more. My immediate plans at retirement is to tour across the US, then will go back into racing after a 30 plus year hiatus; will probably join the Geritol Racing Gang when I get done with touring. The young posters here won't even know what Geritol was.
