Any Folder Versus A Surly LHT

Is there any folder out there that you think can carry as much cargo as the LHT?

Is there any folder out there that you think can roll faster than the LHT on flatlands?

Can a folder really compete with a full sized touring bike?

Thanks

Dahon and Montague both make full size folding bikes (and I believe others do also). You might check out the Dahon Speed TR and the Montague Navigator.

Tern has a Link P24 with some serious touring racks. (for a folding bike)
Link P24h | Tern Folding Bicycles | Worldwide

Also check this blog with a couple touring on Brompton's.
The Path Less Pedaled

But, it's gonna be hard to beat the load capacity of the Surly.
Do you really need it all though?
