Bicycle Mailorder

I have my Christmas bonus and it's nice. Going to buy bike stuff. I was wondering if any body had used a third party bike shop for buying things online instead of going directly to the Manufacturer? If so did you have any issues that you had to get resolved with the factory anyways?

There are literally dozens of online bike/bike part retailers to deal with. "Going directly to the manufacturer" doesn't happen, in my experience. Going through an LBS to order online is at best cumbersome, at worst impossible -- the LBS would rather sell you their stuff!

Order from the online retailer -- price point and chain reaction get most of my attention.
