Thanks! Felt good to be back out there riding after some many years.

Night ride was fun tonight until I got half a mile from home. Hit a black ice patch behind a building and down I went. Elbow's and sides a bit sore.

Here's the ride:

I did 7.1 miles. Rode around Washburn U then came home.

Oh ya Chugged a chocolate milk and ate a Cliff bar after.

Usually my bike team stays on a local fort called Fort Jackson, it has about 40miles of nicely paved roads with military only traffic. Today we went out to the end of one of the forts many roads, jumped the barrier and went out in the country. After riding back through the fort and through the neighborhood we covered 54 miles in 3 3/4 hours. Today out of the 3 3/4 hours we had a hour and a half of intense carido. All in all it was a enjoyable ride.

54.3 miles at 43 degrees. Embro + thermal tights + toe warmers make for a warm ride.

Ran into an old riding buddy about 7 miles into my ride. Rode with him for 23 miles on the maiden ride of his N+1, Trek Madone 5.2 Ultregra. It was a slower ride than my usual rides, but we had a lot of catching up to do.

It's pretty sweet, and the burn lasts awhile for me since apparently it never wants to come off.
