Try getting her to ride around the neighborhood with you about once a week or so. That is what I did and when she started feeling less tired and her blood pressure was going down, she picked it up on her own. My wife hasn't ridden since the problems with her dad started, but normally, she rides with me every day.

Did an hour on the trainer

Sufferfest video on the trainer again today. Had some issues with my legs locking up. My quads would get to tight they would literally stop moving. I would have to press on my knees with my hands to get momentum to start them up again. Then I would shift down to spin easier. Weird, never had this happen before. More fluids?

Same here. She has a brand new 7.4 that gets used a half dozen times a year. Before that she had a Raliegh mountain bike that was almost 15 years that I sold to a friend for his wife with about 500 miles on it.

I sold it because I was getting to old to lift that tank up onto the truck bed.

As with the Raliegh her new bike was selected by color.

I did a spinnerval video today. It's snowing again. We are supposed to warm up and I was hoping to hit the road by tommorow. Looks like Wednesday we will be in the 50's hopefully the roads are good.

poolie, i would hit craigslist to find one, if she is not already riding. my wife wanted a 500 dollar trek but since i knew her history with anything not tv, i kept putting it off and got her a very good looking white full suspension wal mart bike. she loved it and rode it once down the driveway. won;t sell it or give it away so it takes up garage space but won't ride it either
