Had some maintenance and adjustments to make on the road bike yesterday so I thought I would do them while on the trainer and then go out to the MUP and ride some more. Got in about 8 miles worth of riding on the trainer when the backside of my left knee started giving me problems. The same thing happened last week but it went away with a days rest and some ibuprofen. I guess it's going to be a trip to the doctor's office to rule out ITBS.
Yes I agree with you knew leaf. I just bought a trainer for that bad day. I too will bundle up a ride. I cut my distance back in the winter the time change always kills me because of work. That 1 hr I lose just kills me. More gym time on the way

I hope to get in at least two more rides before the storms arrive. I had set a goal of 500 miles this month and need 42 more miles to reach it.

501.2 and it was a struggle to get those last 40 miles.
I am now shooting to ride 650 miles combined for November and December. If sucsessful that will give me 5000 on the year. My wife may shoot me before I get there but I am trying.

Now, you do man! My hat is off to you sir. I am going to try to do 400 for November. Never rode for a montly goal before so will see how it goes.
