A leisurely ride on the couch tonight. Very uneventful. Supposed to be like spring for the next couples of days here in Chicago so good mileage for the next couple of days outside and then the real cold hits.

Well the froozen slush was melted by 1m and I thaught about getting the Huffy out but the Jamis has fenders. so I got the jamis out,I only road 10 miles 5 out with the wind at my back and 5 back with a 25 mph wind in my face. I did put the right gear on this time so it was a good ride. It is below 30* this morning so I will wait and see .

After a four week hiatus I planned to take an easy 10-12 miler and ended up with 26! It was a rough finish with 4 miles straight into the wind.

I thought I was'nt going to get a ride in today but I did. 18 miles the sun finally came out although the wind is being stubborn. Three consecutive days off the bike thats the longest rest period since early May.

It's been too long, I need a ride! Stamina is ebbing, attitude sours. Autumn, Sandy, the back going out then this Nor'easter. It's a battle. Sunday Monday look promising.

Just got back, 18.6 miles. It was 10 degrees warmer than my last daytime ride but felt much colder. I guess it is because of the damp night air.

Just a small 3.82 mile ride tonight. Furthest i've been so far on the MTB has been 10. I'm slowly building myself up. I will tell you one thing bike shorts are FTW!
