Not to poach off the DIY Stands thread but I was looking to see if anyone had some good ideas on how fabricating a bicycle workstand. Pictures and/or video would be great.

This page has some good ideas. The PVC is really easy to work with in comparison to the black plumbing pipe.

As you have seen if you have looked at many of my posts aroud here, I love to build my own bike accessories. A decent work stand is the one exception to this rule- Buying a decent work stand will make working on your bikes a lot easier than even the best "homebrew" setups.

That's just my two cents. YMMV.

Agreed. I was fortunate that right before I moved to Australia, my bro decided to sell me his Park Tool set and Ultimate stand dirt cheap.
