Eric Larsen--Riding to the South Pole
Let me first say that he didn't make it. But what an attempt! He was riding with 130 lbs of gear on his bike!

I would imagine my friend, the other Eric Larsen who gets winded riding his bike to the end of the street and back will get a kick out of this.
The only way I could do that is if a hungry polar bear were chasing me.

Hmm. Baffin wasn't a sponsor, maybe that's why he didn't make it?

Found: one heck of a challenge. I hope to see someone pull it off one day. It seems to me that even seriously attempting something like this qualifies one as an extreme cyclist for sure.
