His basic assumption is that breathing is what limits our climbing ability. I'm sure that's true for some people, but not for me. Maybe I have too many fast-twitch fibers in my quads because the best I can do is when I'm breathing somewhat heavily and my legs are on the verge of cooking off the bone.
