Focus breathe: How to climb fast with a recumbent

Just got a link to an interesting article via twitter, titled "Focus breathe: how to climb fast with a recumbent" http://www.fietsersafstappen.nl/english/focus-breathe-how-to-climb-fast-with-a-recumbent

Not sure how old the article is, but it brings up a great technique for improving your climbs. Enjoy!

His basic assumption is that breathing is what limits our climbing ability. I'm sure that's true for some people, but not for me. Maybe I have too many fast-twitch fibers in my quads because the best I can do is when I'm breathing somewhat heavily and my legs are on the verge of cooking off the bone.
