Around here it is the wild turkeys that scare me, you don't know if thay will fly acrost the road or run, when thay fly it is about windashild high, and at about 15 # it would be like getting hit with a bowling ball. We have flocks of 20 to 50 birds, anouther fine mess the state has made.

I had to see the Dr. yesterday so I only got in a short ride 10 miles yesterday, and we have rain today and anouther Dr. to see, retirement .

Does anyone wonder why I don't miss New Jersey?

Cheers,

They have me wondering why I haven't moved to Canada.

I was just glad I got to ride today. It's been threatening rain all week so most of the time I've chosen not to risk it. Today was clear and crisp! And the colors of the leaves were just as amazing. All in all a good late afternoon/early evening ride. Oh and I got to use my CO2 inflator fro the first time!

It was a little cool here allso 42* and windy. I got in 10 miles but I had to stop 3 times the seat kept comeing lose. I will have to check it out, it has come lose befor. Defect in material and workmanship I think, or a lose nut behind the wrench.

Cold dull day, but I reached 2,000 mi for the year. Personal best.

Now that I hit my goal, can I just go for beer and football on weekends in Nov-Dec?
