Yesterday I dusted off the old Schwinn Crisscross that I have not ridden for, oh, right around 20 years or so.......................drove the wife to her exercise thing in a local park and proceeded to put 12 miles on some local trails. Need to clean and lube the derailleurs, but other than that it did great!! All I did was put some new rubber and tubes on the bike.

Today started with some weight training, then 1.5 hours of hitting golf balls with an instructor, then came home and proceeded to do 18 miles on the road bike, with 20 mph headwind for about 2/3 of the ride. A good day!!!!!

I left the house it was in the low 30s and the sun was out warming thing up. You know a mile down the road it got overcast and started to cool off. I road on over the 3 little hills and down to the end of the road turned on to the hiway and up the hill to the power plant made my turnaround and headed home, 3 little hills again and back home. It was only 11.7 miles but it felt good to be rideing, evean if it was a little cold, all in all a nice ride

Highlight of this morning's ride: wet. Dreary day in the south part of the "sunshine" state (liquid sunshine). Still did 10.3 miles on the hybrid.

Rode in suburban Detroit, cool sunny day(40ish.) Highlight: got out my saw and took some deadfall off the trail. That may have also been my peak hart rate.
And when I pulled out the leftover drink it was the perfect temperature.

I rode 28 miles today with a fella I last rode with close to a year ago when I began riding seriously. He waited on me last year, but now the opposite is true. I was glad to do it though as we rode through some wonderful countryside on a new route for me, with clear skies and crisp 35*-45* temps throughout the ride.

I love riding, but is is so much more fun when your with others as well.

My whole ride was my highlight!!

It is nice to see outhers posting there rides, makes me want to get out there evean more.
Yesterday I left it was under 30* on the out door, but I was dresed for it. I realy like being comfy ,sun shineing a little cold air. I used my motorcycle gloves as my wrist were getting sore from them getting cold and thay realy did the trick. Ended up with 12.5 miles and it was warmer as the day went on, I think it got up to 50* in the after noon. Looks nice out today, temp on the out door 30*, I will give it an houre.

Rode 16 mi, including twice around this nice little Cook County Forest Preserve MUP. Temp was in the mid 30s. I installed trekking bars on the LHT a few weeks back and am finding them very comfortable.
