My 89 CENTURION ACCORDO

Here is my newest ride,I got it from a local scrap yard.It's a 21" 1989 centurion accordo made of tange Infinity tubing.accordo.jpg

why is it that so many folks refer to Sheldon Brown as if he has the answer to everything. As if his opinions are statutes.
Is it just because he's compiled a lot of info in one place?
Is he some kind of cycling super-hero?
