A llama on a leash?!
Now THAT would probably cause me to do a double take and likely crash.

No Llama's on today's ride, but I did manage to get in a very hot and very humid ride of 30.1 miles in this morning. Got a bit of a late start and it's unbelievable what a difference 25 minutes makes.

Sorry to hear about the lack of llamas. Maybe next time. Good effort on hot humid 30 though.

Watch out for those alpaca's. They produce great wool but if one spits on you you will never forget it.

And I thought it was bad my husband wants two dogs to replace the one we lost due to old age two years ago. I can't imagine what my response would be to a llama or alpaca request. LOL. I still can't envision replacing my beloved border collie, Riley. What a great dog he was.

I've been out of the saddle Sunday and Monday because I worked too hard a bit on Saturday and paid for it with a sore/pulled left hamstring. Should be back on the bike in the morning. Early. Like John_V says, a half-hour can make a big difference with this heat and humidity.

Just think they would pets that give back. They carry things, keep the grass short, make wool, and they can ward off salesmen with projectile spit.

Indeed. They would be pets that give back, omni. Good point. And good luck getting your wife to go along with it.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. I need to live vicariously through others.

Had a great 12 miles before work. Got 3 KOMs on local Strava segments. One was a 1.5 mile stretch at 19.2 miles an hour.

Feels good, now I need food.

Started off a nice cool morning that very quickly became hot and muggy. Toward the end of the ride, there was just enough wind to make the 30.4 mile ride enjoyable.
