recumbent, You think I am to old for a road bike this bike will die befor me if I have to push it off a cliff

Well a month and 388.4 miles and I can say, it is still kicking my but. the stem never came in so I am not going to change the saddle until I get a stem as the stem will give me a more upright riding posion. I feel like a soap opera, as the wheel turns
