Are rollers OK for an apartment?

I would love the idea of using rolling in my apartment but I think it would drive my downstairs neigbor crazy. Anybody know if there are any good roller sets that are VERY quiet?

You might talk this over with the people below you. Maybe you could arrange training times so as not to bother. People when included are usually very nice about such things.

I use rollers at the shop I work. I also use a magnetic resistance device at home that is much quieter. It does not teach you to hold a good line, but you can really crank and work like a dog. My mom appreciates the consideration of noise.

Do a search for magnetic trainers. They are the quietest. You can also pad the machine with blankets or yoga mats. This helps a good deal. *place between floor and legs of device*

Grind away.

Mike, I use these rollers. They are very quiet. And the way the rollers are suspended from the main frame should make it where they aren't heard by your neighbors below.
