It's karma. I help my neighbors and anyone else that brings me a bike, and I treat the new LBS owner right. In turn, good deals get dropped in my lap. Sold the $10 Trek for $100, and the Diamondback that didn't really cost me anything will probably go for $75 today.

For my next project, picked up a mint set of Mavic Crossmax wheels for $75.

I have a custom frame (check the surgery thread) that I was going to build, but someone offered me a Rockshox 29er fork for my X-Fusion Velvet, so now I'm not sure if I am going to complete that project or not.

Oh, I think they're Cross Ride, not Cross Max. There's about a $500 price difference.

But still good wheels either way, right?

I was thinking of putting some Spynergy or Aerospokes on my hybrid, make it the new hipster machine, except round these parts not much in the way of hipsters to blend in with.

I'll just jack it up, put a CB antenna on it and a "Git-R-Done" sticker on the top tube. I'll blend in so well they'll ask me if it's got the Powerstroke in it.

Do not hang testicles off the back of your bike. Yes, I'm going to keep those rims, and it looks like I will do a budget build instead for my brother in law.

I am willing to bet you brought stray animals home during your youth. You need to get on the swap thread and start barting your wares.

Youth? I am allergic to cats. We have had five in this house alone. Our dogs are all rescues as well.

Wow 10 bux for that Trek? Why can't I find deals like that? I need to learn how to work on these things.
