Today's jersey

Hey pics from rides, logging rides, why not see some of the cool local stuff that may not be readily available to everyone ?

Hmm, this one just happens to include my third favorite thing

I have a crapton of jerseys and I like to get event jerseys from adventures I go on but I couldn't resist a $14 jersey from Nashbar last week. My wife ask why I needed another jersey? I told her the old ones have seen better days. I actually have plenty of jerseys that are still in good shape but it's kind of like buying bikes, you always need at least one more. They have some for less than ten bucks you should at least have one. http://www.nashbar.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10053_10052_581878_-1___205162

I now only buy full-length zipper jerseys. Around here, when colder, I like a jersey with an attached hood, which now are almost impossible to find. Performance used to carry their own brand, but no more, and the elastic in the 3 that I have is wearing out. I have one more that is good, but no decent rear pockets on that one.

I rode the Armed Forces Cycling Classic yesterday. I had the opportunity to ride in the Corporate Challenge for Thales, the company that sponsors the Corporate Challenge. Boeing puts over 400 riders on the course and they line up at the front, so they win the Corporate Challenge every year. Not sure how Thales did. We had 50 riders. Hoping for a top five. Haven't seen the results yet.

rode once in one of these and will never go back. So much more comfy than an actual jersey, is like having AC when stopped in shade with any breeze, SPF 50, dries super fast, mud washes out completely and easily & costs less than bike jerseys. They have survived foresty rides with limbs and sticker vines without catches or pulls. I just buy XXXL so they fit more like a T shirt.
